We are offering a passionate individual the chance to join our team for a one-week work experience placement. This opportunity is designed to offer hands-on experience in tackling a real-world problem from conception to prototype.
    The challenge
    During this one-week placement, you will work closely with our experienced software and UI/UX design teams. You will be directly involved in the process of designing a small software solution that when complete will allow you to demonstrate your understanding of the full software life-cycle. This will include brainstorming sessions, design-jams, and prototype development.  There is a lot of ground to cover - but you'll thank us at the end of the week, we promise!

    What we'll ask you to do during the week...
    • Collaborate with team members to identify and understand a real-world problem.
    • Participate in the design process, contributing ideas for software solutions and user interface improvements.
    • Assist in the development of a prototype, focusing on functionality and user experience.
    • Engage in daily stand-ups and review meetings to discuss progress and receive feedback.

  • Spend the week exploring a career in arts curation and event management at Broadway Museum & Art Gallery

    Museum experience students get to explore all aspects of running a community museum first hand; from Front of House public interfacing to marketing and design, some admin tasks including editing their website, completing membership applications to exhibition planning and programming, all the way to cleaning and the environmental management behind sustaining conditions suitable for their exhibits.

    The week must be taken during 2024 and will be 9-5 Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.
