Our photography competition will be open to any photographer in the UK or abroad, amateur or professional,

The competition & prizes are generously sponsored by Photographer Peter Martin who has a gallery in Stow on the Wold.

Prize categories:

  • Best Portrait (£250)
  • Best Landscape (£250)
  • Best Wildlife (£250)
  • Best Photo Essay (£500)

Prize winners and those Highly Commended will have their entries displayed in St Michael’s All Angels Church in Broadway during the Broadway Arts Festival 6-15 June 2025, open daily with free entry.

Competition entries will open on 1st February 2025 with a deadline of 6pm 1st April 2025

Prizewinners and those Highly Commended will be announced on 15th April and  that will form the exhibition during the festival.

In short, no. This creates too much admin burden and can cause confusion and errors in the system.

To withdraw an entry please email competition@broadwayartsfestival.com and provide your name, email address and entry number stating that you would like it to be withdrawn. Unfortunately we cannot refund your entry fee.

We are opening the competition up to young people age 16+.

There is not a children’s competition, but do look out for the many events and activities for the younger generation at the next festival in June 2025.

The entry fee is £10 per entry:

  • Photo essay:  £10 (which includes 5-8 images)
  • Landscape: £10 (1 image)
  • Portrait: £10 (1 image)
  • Wildlife: £10 (1 image)

Broadway Arts Festival is an arts charity.

Any monies left over after costs go towards the running of the festival, our student bursary scheme and schools outreach programme.

Sadly not. The entry process is now online in order to reduce admin burden and costs as we are a charity.

Entry fee payment needs to be via credit or debit card when completing the entry form. See the bottom of the form.

Yes!

We won’t take any commission and instead will put you directly in touch with your buyer to arrange payment and collection.

However you can opt for ‘Not for sale’ to be displayed next to your entry too.
