Peter Martin

Canadian born Peter Martin became a professional at 16 when a photo was published on the front page of a Toronto daily newspaper. Over the last 40 years Martin has worked in over 30 countries accumulating well over 10,000 credited assignments as both freelance and staff photographer for various newspapers, news outlets and publications including the Montreal Gazette and the Washington Post.
His varied and diverse portfolio of work includes major sporting and entertainment events, international fashion shoots, Popes, Presidents, Royalty and the fall of the Berlin Wall. His work has been displayed in several solo and group exhibits and in 2008 his photograph of Terry Fox was voted #4 of the Top Ten Historical Photos That Changed Canada. In 2015 he opened his own gallery (Peter Martin Gallery) in Stow-On-The-Wold, in the Cotswolds.

He has worked alongside legendary actors, directors and cinematographers creating lasting images we’ve all recognized from Star Wars and James Bond to Indiana Jones and Superman. Just some of the names he’s photographed read like a who’s-who of film royalty and stardom including Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Helen Mirren, Halle Berry, Robert Redford Roger Moore, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt.

Gary Hershorn is an award-winning Canadian photographer and picture editor. His 40-year career included 29 working for Reuters as Chief Photographer-Canada, Senior Photographer in Washington, Picture Editor-Americas and Global Sports Pictures Editor in New York. Hershorn has photographed 17 Olympic Games, 24 Masters Golf tournaments, 24 Academy Awards, Super Bowls, World Series, Stanley Cups, World Cups, and major news events. He is a contributing photographer to Getty Images and his latest book, New York Celestial, was published in 2019.
