An introduction to Skyscapes in oils on paper using Alla Prima techniques, relying on intuitive mark making to create emotive skyscapes. Throughout the day there will be the opportunity to experience a wide range of techniques that include washes, blends, stippling, scumbling and lifting.

Contextual studies will include looking at the work of Turner, Whistler and Caspar David Friedrich along with a host of other artists known for working in the tradition of the Sublime.
