In this workshop you will learn a little about kiln-formed glass, how to safely score, break & layer sheet and accessory glass, and how to create a unique design using your chosen colour palette.
Suitable for beginners, Helen has plenty of templates to inspire your ideas (but do feel free to bring along your sketchbook or photographs from which to work.)
Your unique glass creations will need to go through at least two firings after the class and will be returned to the venue within 14 days. Helen is also happy to post your glass if required (approximately P&P is £8)
Helen Cooper has a degree in Ceramics & Glass, was a secondary school teacher of art for over 22 years, and for the past 6 years has been teaching a wide range of creative workshops across the country, mainly in the West Midlands.

All materials & equipment will be provided on the day. You may wish to bring an apron, but we do have several in the studio.  Feel free to bring your own sketchbook of ideas or photographs.
Avoid open-toed footwear.

This workshop will be taking place in the workshop in the beautiful grounds of Stanton Guildhouse, 10 minutes drive from Broadway. Free parking.
