Richard Ormond, Great-Nephew of John Singer Sargent RA

Richard Ormond CBE has been appointed Art Historical Advisor to the Festival.  Formerly Director of the National Maritime Museum and Deputy Director of the National Portrait Gallery, he is the grandson of Violet Sargent Ormond, the sister of John Singer Sargent.
