Broadway Arts Festival invites you to join them for an evening of opera and dinner in the stunning hilltop setting of Broadway Golf Club, with panoramic views across the Vale of Evesham to the Malvern Hills & Black Mountains.
Award winning soprano Eleanor Broomfield, current recipient of a Broadway Arts Festival student grant, will be performing well-known operatic arias and song from her repertoire through two musical interludes during the evening.
Eleanor graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with First Class honours, and is now on the Masters programme on scholarship. Her extensive operatic experience includes the Young Vixen in Janacek’s The Cunning Little Vixen at Longborough Opera House, Bridesmaid in Weber’s Der Freischütz and First Witch in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. Eleanor has played the roles of Gianetta, Eurydice and Despina in the Festival Camogli in Italy, and Tiny, Puck and Gretel in Academy Opera Scenes… plus many other roles and concert performances across the country.
Upcoming engagements include her debuts with the Pro Amina Orchestra and Vivo D’arte as well as a Young Artist at Longborough Opera House’s production of Orfeo ed Euridice.
