This oil sketching workshop will be taking place in the grounds of Broadway Tower with far reaching views, and focuses on painting the landscape with oils and palette knife, led by renowned Cotswold artist Rupert Aker.

We will work outside if the weather is fine and explore how to sketch quickly with a palette knife and oils. Using a limited colour palette – you will complete several paintings and choose the one you’d like to rupert to frame on the day and take home with you! If the weather doesn’t cooperate (wet or very windy), this workshop will take place in the marquee on the village green in Broadway, working from reference. Please bring a photo or image on your phone to paint if working inside.

All materials (paints, palette knife, panels/oil paper, easels, palettes, a frame, etc) are provided – so just turn up in some clothes you don’t mind getting paint on! The ticket price also includes entry to the grounds.

The workshop is suitable for novices and improvers who are interested in having a go at painting quick, impressionist sketches with palette knife and oils.

Tickets £85 (10 Places)
