Join Textile Artist Liske Johnson for a creative afternoon. This workshop is all about process.  Liske will introduce you to Indian block printing and thermofax screen printing, and you’ll make your own simple print block.  We will work on cotton fabric to create a collection of samples that can be stitched into and used in textile projects. Liske has a large collection of wooden Indian print blocks which are a simple, yet effective way to add print and pattern to fabric.

We will also bring along our pre-made thermofax screens. Thermofaxes are a type of screen print so give a nice crisp print onto fabric.

Using fabric paints these two techniques can be mixed and layered to create unique designs onto fabric.
