We are pleased to announce that the 2018 programme of events has been announced and can now be be viewed on the website!

Tickets will go on sale on 30th March at 10am through the website – Benefactors & Friends priority booking starts at 10am on March 16th.

We have over 60 events this year with many more workshops  and demonstrations led by leading contemporary artists, craftsmen and designers for painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, jewellery, ceramics, willow, wood or metalwork.

On June 17th “The Great Broadway Paint-Off” takes place with everyone encouraged to join in and try their hand to win exciting prizes.

Lovers of music and theatre will be treated to a great selection of classical concerts, fabulous Jazz nights, a “Come & Sing!” choral workshop of Mozart’s Requiem plus a New Orleans style Mardi Gras Party on the final Saturday night of the festival!

Enjoy summer evenings of comedy and romance in the marquee on the idyllic village green with a theatre production of “Romeo and Juliet” by The Handlebards or “Pride & Prejudice” by Heartbreak Productions.

 

 

 

Alongside special exhibitions in the many village galleries, the Broadway Museum and Art Gallery will play host to a fascinating World War I exhibition curated from the collection of John Noott accompanied by poetry and music of the period.

New for this year:

A new exciting three day weekend event 8-10 June in the marquee on the village green featuring artists, printmakers, sculptors, ceramicists, designers and craftsmen demonstrating their skills and selling their wares.

Specialist demonstrations led by internationally renowned contemporary artists including Ann Blockley, Tony Allain, Jerry Fresia, Trevor Waugh and Este McLeod.

Family Programme:

This year there will be a new family programme of events with activities for all ages throughout the festival including storytelling, drama workshops and a special guest appearance by Tweedy the clown from Gifford’s Circus!

The Family Day on June 16th will feature arts and crafts workshops, mural painting and street performers; whilst David Walliams fans can look forward to a theatrical production of the bestseller “The Midnight Gang”.
