Introduction to woodturning workshop for beginners at Stanton Guildhouse, run by Tony Jones, an approved AWGB tutor and experienced teacher, with two experienced assistants. For more information about Tony visit www.ashcraft.org.uk

You will leave the course having been introduced to essential tools, turned basic shapes from a square piece of wood and turned a garden dibber from a piece of local timber. Under Tony Jones’ guidance, you will turn your own wooden masterpiece!

Each participant will be provided with a face shield and a moulded mask.  Each participant will be able to take these safety items at the end of the day. A piece of square section softwood and locally sourced timber will be supplied.

Bring your own lunch; drinks will be available in the Guildhouse kitchen. Please wear stout footwear and clothes that you do not mind getting covered in wood shavings. Suitable for age 16+

This workshop will be taking place in the purpose-built woodturning workshop at the stunning Stanton Guildhouse, a 10 minute drive from Broadway.
