| £40.00Join Andrew Field, contestant on Sky Arts “Landscape Artist of the Year”, to develop a repertoire of techniques and processes to improve your confidence and understanding of how to manipulate paint, using a variety of painting mediums.
A professional local artist with over 20 years experience of teaching, he has exhibited at The Royal Society of Marine Artists as well as The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists. He lived in the UAE for many years, painting plein-air on the beaches of Abu Dhabi.
Andrew is represented by a number of galleries in the UK, including Highgate Contemporary Art in London and Rostra Gallery in Bath. He takes inspiration from the beautiful Cotswold landscape as well as the coastline of Cornwall. He is an Ambassador for Wallace Seymour Fine Art Products and represented by Nova Fine Art, based in Leamington Spa and Marlow.
Suitable for artists with some experience of painting in oils.

A range of oil colours – simple palette suggestion for landscape painting – zinc white (for making admixtures and half-tints, especially with transparent colours; viridian, yellow ochre, orange ochre, raw sienna, indian red, burnt sienna, ivory black, ultramarine blue, cobalt blue, cadmium yellow
Brushes, turpentine, linseed oil, dammar varnish, white spirit, old rags for cleaning brushes, a palette, a couple of canvases or prepared panels (medium to small size) 30cm x 30cm, 30 x 40cm, 40cm x 40cm as a guide.
A field easel would be preferable but is not essential.
