Experimental Print Day
Sat June 14, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm BST
Spend the day experimenting with 3 different fabric printing techniques with Liske Johnson (BA Hons Textile Design) & Claire Lundy (BA Hons Printed Textiles) from Littleheath Barn Studio.
This is the perfect introduction to printing, where you will create a selection of printed fabric samples over the day to use in future projects.
The three print techniques you will practice are:
- Indian block printing – explore pattern and composition
- Gelli plate printing – use stencils, and wooden blocks to create exciting layered fabrics
- Thermofax screen printing – a simple form of screen printing, we have lots of designs for you to choose from to create bespoke fabrics
Suitable for beginners, we will work onto white cotton.
This workshop will be taking place in the Lifford Hall in the centre of Broadway.
