At the end of this workshop you will take home your very own 40cm lampshade with fabric printed with Alison Bick designs and illustrations. 

Alison will guide you through the lampshade-making process, and show you her tips and tricks on how to get a professional finish.

Alison is a Cornish designer who began making her own fabric designed lampshades five years ago, and in 2021 was featured in an episode of Escape to the Country running a lampshade-making workshop.

Materials provided:

1. Fabric panel template printed with Alison’s illustrations.  She will bring a selection for you to choose from.  
2. All the components you will need to make a 40cm diameter lampshade including metal rings, sticky back panel, scissors, tucking in tools and sticky tape.
