What a great day – despite everything the weather threw at us!
We were thoroughly impressed with the 49 artists who braved the elements (storm Alex) & seemingly enjoyed the opportunity to get the heck out of the house and be creative with other like-minded (very hardy) types. We loved seeing your resulting masterpieces and had so many members of the public say how much they enjoyed seeing you at work.
Winners:
1st – Ann-Louise Brenchley (Broom – Alcester) – pictured
2nd – Angela Webb (Leamington Spa)
3rd – David Birch (Chipping Campden)
4th – Nadia Kruger (Crowthorne – Berkshire)
5th – Sarah Stanley (Stoke-on-Trent)
6th – Stuart Perace (Broadway)
7th – Kath Beddow (Stafford)
Huge thanks to our judges Antonia Black & John Noott for taking on the difficult job of deciding on winners and our wonderful band of volunteers who were out before it was light erecting gazebos in torrential rain & high wind at 7:30am.
We hope that the next Paint-Off in 2021 will be less challenging and even more popular.
