Spend a day mastering pastel seascapes.

Gareth will demonstrate and guide students in creating a convincing and dynamic depiction of the sea in soft pastels.

Suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike, reference will be provided.

Gareth is an internationally acclaimed pastel artist and winner of several prestigious awards. Master Circle member of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS), a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and an Associate Artist with Unison Pastels.

This event will take place at The Lifford Hall in the centre of Broadway. Please use village car parks.

Materials List:
Students to provide all their own materials.

• A decent beginners set of pastels, sketch pad, drawing board or easel.
• Pastel paper or surface to A3 or A4 size – he recommends a sanded surface such as Senellier LaCarte pastel card or any surface that is specifically for pastel.
• Kitchen towel, masking tape and wet wipes.

Glassine paper will be provided to protect finished work.
