Learn all about enamelling onto silver and produce a prepared silver and enamelled pendant to a finish good enough to wear. The technique you will learn is called Champleve, where silver is removed by acid etching to create a recess for the transparent enamel.

Jane has taught for many years from beginners to advanced since 1974. In 2021 Jane received a silver award from the Goldsmiths Craft and Design Council.

This class is suitable for anyone who would like to experience making jewellery as either a complete novice or who has some basic experience. Suitable for people who like working with their hands. Patience is required!

Visit www.janemoore.co.uk to take a look at Jane’s gallery where you will see examples of the sort of pieces you will be making.

All materials and equipment are provided.

Please wear sensible shoes that cover your toes. Please bring an apron, a small sketch book and crayons or felt tip pens to practise different colourways for your piece.
