This is an opportunity for those who are either novices or have some basic to medium silversmithing skills, to learn a variety of techniques under the careful tutorage of Karen Lockton and her colleague, Dawn.
You will learn to solder, hand forge, anneal, finish and polish a solid sterling silver pendant.

Karen and her daughter, Francesca, run a successful silversmithing business from the village of Silverstone in Northamptonshire.
Karen is an internationally recognised Foldforming Silversmith and her piece “Defenders of the Mark” was displayed at Goldsmiths’ Hall in 2019.
Francesca specialises in delicate jewellery pieces, and along with her commission work, is due to qualify in 2021 as a GEM-A graduate of the Diamond Diploma, earning DGA status.

An interesting and fun workshop learning a range of silversmithing skills while making a beautiful bespoke solid sterling silver pendant to take home.
