An intensive 3.5 hour workshop for those wanting to concentrate on techniques to advance an idea or “work-in-progress” novel. Exercises will concentrate on dialogue, character building, scene set ups, hooks, and speed plotting with a view to giving participants more confidence, structure and material to continue their own work.

Vanessa Rigg is a local writer and teaches Creative Writing techniques at Chipping Campden School.
Her play “Who Put the B in the BBC?” was performed at Chipping Campden Literature Festival. Her current novel “Pettiver’s Cabinet of Curiosities” was shortlisted for the Retreat West First Chapter competition in May 2018.
