Loop Software: 1 Week of Work Experience

Duration: 1 Week (dates flexible but preferably in October)

Loop Software is a fast growing technology company that provides innovative solutions to the property industry.  We are an innovative bunch, that never sit still. We are offering a passionate individual the chance to join our team for a one-week work experience placement. This opportunity is designed to offer hands-on experience in tackling a real-world problem from conception to prototype.

During this one-week placement, you will work closely with our experienced software and UI/UX design teams. You will be directly involved in the process of designing a small software solution that when complete will allow you to demonstrate your understanding of the full software life-cycle. This will include brainstorming sessions, design-jams, and prototype development.  There is a lot of ground to cover – but you’ll thank us at the end of the week, we promise!

• Collaborate with team members to identify and understand a real-world problem.
• Participate in the design process, contributing ideas for software solutions and user interface improvements.
• Assist in the development of a prototype, focusing on functionality and user experience.
• Engage in daily stand-ups and review meetings to discuss progress and receive feedback.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the software design and development process in a professional setting.
• Develop practical skills in user interface design and prototyping tools.
• Experience the dynamics of working in a collaborative team environment on a live project.
• Receive mentorship and feedback from experienced professionals in the field.

• Students or recent graduates with a keen interest in software design, user interface design, or related fields (minimum age 16)
• Individuals seeking hands-on experience in applying theoretical knowledge to solve real-world problems.
• Candidates who are creative, collaborative, and eager to learn and contribute to a team.
