SUMMARY:Incorporating Antiques into the Modern Home - Talk by Lennox Cato
DESCRIPTION:With over 40 years of experience in the world of antiques and interiors\, Lennox Cato will talk about using antiques in our 21st century way of living. \nHow we can use items from a bygone past and how such pieces can add character to a home\, even a new build property. How the juxtaposition of very old and very new can work to dramatic effect. \nHe will touch upon how to go about buying antiques and a masterclass on what to look for. \nAbout Lennox Cato: \nLennox’s passion for 18th and 19th century English furniture led him to become one of the furniture specialists on the famous BBC 1\, Antiques Roadshow. His other credits include winning the BACA Award for Best General Antique Dealer in the South of England in 2003\, a council member of the BADA (British Antiques Dealers Association) for 12 years\, including a year as Country Vice Chairman in 2008.
