DESCRIPTION:Join Jenny Aitken for a wonderful day of en plein air painting around the lovely village of Willersey – just 5 mins from Broadway. Here you’ll have the opportunity to capture the idyllic Cotswold village which has honey-coloured stone buildings\, beautiful village greens and a shimmering village pond.  \nAward winning artist Jenny Aitken has spent most of her career studying contre-jour light. She is a regular writer for The Artist magazine\, and in the process of writing a book on the subject. She loves to teach and share her methods and process\, especially in the unpredictable and exciting world of plein air! Suitable for those who are familiar with basic oil painting skills and upwards. \nFind more information on Jenny www.jennyaitken.co.uk\, or via Instagram or facebook @jennyaitkenart. \nTickets £90  (15 available) \nTickets go on sale through the website at 10am on 11th March\, and 1 week earlier (4th March) for Benefactors of the festival who qualify for Priority Booking. \nYou can become a Benefactor for as little as £50 and support our Outreach Projects in doing so\, applications are now open. \nMaterials list:  \n\nA stable easel!\nOils: these colours\, or similar: titanium white\, lemon yellow\, cad red\, alizarin crimson\, purple\, ultramarine\, phthalo green\, sap green\, burnt umber\nCanvas boards – I use 24 x 30cm or 30 x 40cm – bring a selection of 3 or 4 (you may only use 1\, but best to bring enough so you don’t run out!)\nLow odour thinner \nBrushes: synthetic – medium filbert\, a medium flat\, a small rigger\nLarge palette\nBaby wipes or cloth\nSealable pot for thinner\n\nThe village pond and Pool Farm in Willersey:
