SUMMARY:Introduction to Cyanotype with Emily Rose Parris
DESCRIPTION:During this in depth 2 hour workshop you will explore cyanotype printing onto paper & fabric\, using the power of the sun to create striking blue & white prints. Once you’ve got to grips with the process you will print onto tote bags or cards to take away with you. \nNo previous experience is needed. All materials are provided\, but feel free to bring small plants or objects you’d like to experiment printing with. \nWhat is a cyanotype? \nCyanotype printing is one of the earliest forms of photography\, discovered in 1842. Cyanotype printing is a camera-less technique using UV sensitive chemistry and UV rays from the sun.  \nWho is running this workshop?\nEmily Rose Parris is a Photographer & Arts Educator visiting from Kent. \nThis event will be taking place in the Lifford Hall parlour room. \nTickets £45 (12 Places) \n  \n  \n \n  \nTutor: Photographer Emily Rose Parris
