DESCRIPTION:Join us on the last night of the festival for a Jazz supper club in the marquee on the village green! \nExpect stylish jazz\, street food vendors\, communal dining in the marquee\, a dance floor\, a double decker bus bar and an opportunity to kick back\, socialise\, and meet new people.\nThis is a relaxed event where you will be encouraged to move about and mingle\, chat\, enjoy a range of great street food and some fabulous  jazz. Help us celebrate the end of the festival!\nThe Ben Holder Hot Club Quartet is a stellar lineup of incredible musicians\, blending an energetic mix of Gypsy Jazz and traditional Swing harking back to the 1920s & 30s. Led by the fiery enthusiasm of Ben Holder\, who wows on violin\, the quartet is strengthened by three phenomenal musicians on guitars and double bass. Expect jazz violin as you’ve never seen it before! \nWith an innate sense of swing\, breath-taking technical ability and true showmanship on stage\, Ben offers flawless musicianship\, heaps of energy and personality and a visible passion for his craft. You can expect to leave an evening of Ben’s company filled with infectious happiness\, asking yourself “Where does he get his energy?!” \n“Get your feet tapping and your jaw dropping at the speed of his fingers. Top quality musicianship and utter entertainment.” – Little Live Music Company \n“That man Holder…if he was playing electric guitar behind a screen you’d swear it was Jimi Hendrix come back to life. So fast. So melodic.” – Jonathan Craymer\, Grapevine Live \nBar and street food providers open at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start. \nThere will be a full service bar\, a fabulous converted double decker bus\, parked outside the marquee. So please note there will no longer be a BYOB option for drinks on the night. DESCRIPTION:Favola take you on a musical journey in the beautiful atmospheric setting of Grade I-listed St Eadburgha’s Church on the outskirts of Broadway. \nProgramme: \n\nDance of the Blessed Spirits – Gluck\nHypnosis – Ian Clarke\nPassaggio – Louis Anthony deLise\nSicilenne – Fauré\nHistoire du Tango – Piazzolla\nSonata for flute and harp – Nino Rota\n\nHarpist Madeline Kirby and flautist Judith Scholes who make up Favola met in 2019 when they were representing the UK in the Serbian Music Edict Festival. United by a love of discovering music for flute and harp\, they soon formed as a duo and have been performing together since. \nJudith is a flute player and teacher\, and regularly performs with the National Flute Orchestra and the Central England Ensemble. Harpist Madeline Kirby’s career has seen her performing with many ensembles in the UK and abroad including The International Film Orchestra and Roma Concerts Opera. \nTickets £20 \nTickets go on sale through the website at 10am on 17th March. \nFree parking will be available in the field opposite the church. DESCRIPTION:The Birmingham Philharmonic will be presenting a bespoke programme of English composers for the Broadway Arts Festival at the new Cidermill Theatre in Chipping Campden on the afternoon of Sunday 13th October 2024. \nThe Orchestra’s patron is the celebrated cellist Julian Lloyd Webber\, who will be providing an introduction to the works to be performed to provide context\, taking you on a journey that celebrates some of the very best English composers. \nThe programme will feature Elgar’s Cello Concerto and will take us on a journey of English music from Worcestershire and the West Country\, finishing with Elgar’s Cockaigne Overture (In London Town). \nA programme of exciting and moving music that is not only appealing to those new to classical music\, but also seasoned classical music-lovers in a superb new arts venue with wonderful acoustics in the heart of beautiful Chipping Campden. \nThis is a not to be missed celebration of English classical music. \nProgramme: \nHolst A Somerset Rhapsody \nElgar Cello Concerto \nCoates London Again Suite \nWalton Spitfire Prelude and Fugue \nCoates Calling All Workers \nElgar Overture: Cockaigne (In London Town) \n  \nGuest Cellist for Elgar’s Cello Concerto: Ella Harrison\nOne of our key charitable aims is to encourage and inspire the next generation of artists. We are therefore delighted to be able to showcase the talent of Ella Harrison. Ella is currently at the Purcell School of Music\, assisted by the government scholarship scheme\, where Julian Lloyd Webber is a Patron. She is a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and has played in venues including the Wigmore hall and has participated in Birmingham concert series at the Elgar concert hall. DESCRIPTION:Join the legendary vocalist Lance Ellington and his 6-piece band for a journey of nostalgia\, romance and swing through the music of Duke Ellington\, Frank Sinatra\, Nat King Cole\, George Benson\, Tony Bennett\, Michael Bublé and many more. Lance was guest vocalist with the Strictly Come Dancing Band for several years and regularly performs sold out shows at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London. \nLance has worked with many of the world’s top recording artists\, including Sting\, George Michael\, Robbie Williams\, Tina Turner\, Michael Jackson and many others. He is one of the UK’s busiest session singers\, performing on many great albums. \nThis event will be taking place in the marquee on the village green. \nBar opens at 7:30pm for an 8pm start. \nTickets £25 \nTickets go on sale through the website at 10am on 11th March\, and 1 week earlier (4th March) for Benefactors of the festival who qualify for Priority Booking. \nYou can become a Benefactor for as little as £50 and support our Outreach Projects in doing so\, applications are now open. \nIf you are not a 2023 Benefactor\, please do not purchase a Benefactor ticket as this ticket will be cancelled and an admin fee of £10 charged. \n
