SUMMARY:Silver Clay Pendant Jewellery Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join Jo Richards of Faye Benjamin Jewellery for an introduction to Silver Clay workshop making your very own stunning solid silver pendant over the course of 3 hours. Jo has over 25 years of experience designing and creating jewellery. \nSilver Clay can be cut\, shaped and textured with ease – a wonderful way to create your very own unique jewellery. \nSuitable for complete beginners\, you will work at a relaxed pace with time to ask questions along the way. \nYour pendant will be fired and finished during the session so you can wear your creation home with pride! \nWhat is Silver Clay \nSilver Clay is made up of recycled pure silver particles bound together with water and a non-toxic organic binder. It can be moulded\, shaped\, pressed\, stamped and cut. When the piece is finished\, it’s dried thoroughly and fired with a blow torch or in a kiln. During firing\, the organic binder burns away leaving the silver particles to fuse into solid silver. \nNot only is Silver Clay created from recycled silver\, it’s also fabulously versatile and truly beautiful. Being 99.9% Fine Silver (Sterling Silver is only 92.5%) means the piece will be of a higher silver content\, less liable to tarnishing and when turned into a unique handmade piece\, just that little bit more precious… \nCome along with a friend and spend an afternoon learning a new skill and walk away with a beautiful memento of your day. \nAll materials and tools will be provided. \nPlease wear sturdy shoes. \nTickets £75  (10 Places) \n
