Young artists (age 5+) will be making woodland creatures and fantastical worlds by selecting from a wide range of garden and woodland materials and a small block of clay.
We will handle and explore a range of natural materials and share stories about the countryside and plants, including individual plant properties and names.

Jane Bevan is an artist with a passion for English woodlands, who forages for natural materials which she ties, stitches and binds together to make her artworks. Her materials are those that might otherwise be trodden on or overlooked, such as feathers, twigs, bark, seeds and thorns reflecting the beauty and perfection in the detail of nature.

The workshop is informal and sociable designed to help kids explore and connect with nature through creative work.
