Your chance to experience the joy of singing in a choir with our half day workshop – gospel, spirituals, singing in rounds and a bit of classical thrown in.

You don’t need to be able to read music – just come and sing!

Experience the joy of choral singing across a range of works from gospel to spirituals to Renaissance rounds and classical crossover led by inspirational conductor Stuart Overington.

Stuart is well known for his engaging, informative and inclusive style and has worked with a diverse range of ensembles including the Royal Opera House Chorus, National Children’s Choir, community choirs, Snow Patrol, Elbow and John Rutter.

The afternoon culminates in a sharing event for friends and family and is suitable for both beginners and more experienced singers alike.
The ability to read music will be an advantage but not essential.

Please arrive at 12:30 for a 1pm start.
There will be a public performance / sharing at 4pm for family and friends. Tickets for the sharing are just £5.

This workshop will take place in the hall at the Broadway United Reformed Church with the sharing taking place in the church.

Tickets £15 per person (60 available)

Tickets go on sale through the website at 10am on Good Friday (April 10th) and up to 3 weeks earlier for benefactors of the festival.
