Design & make a silver ring workshop

You will learn to solder, hand forge, anneal, finish and polish a silver ring.
Francesca specialises in delicate jewellery pieces, and along with her commission work, is due to qualify in 2021 as a GEM-A graduate of the Diamond Diploma, earning DGA status. Participants will be seated at their own table 2 metres apart in the parlour room which has ample ventilation, patio doors that open onto the car park and high ceilings.
You will have your temperature checked on arrival and if it is 38oC or above you won’t be allowed to take part in the workshop. The workshop leader and arts festival staff will also have their temperatures checked on arrival.
You will need to wear a face covering while inside and during the workshop unless you are exempt. This can be a face mask or plastic visor. There will be hourly breaks where you can step outside.
