Learn how to create prints using the power of the sun!

Objects are arranged onto paper that is sensitive to UV light. The arrangement is then exposed to the sun and washed in water to fix. Children will walk away with a handful of striking blue & white silhouette prints. There will be kits available to purchase at the end of the workshop to continue exploring this interesting print technique at home.

What is a cyanotype?

Cyanotype printing is one of the earliest forms of photography, discovered in 1842. Cyanotype printing is a camera-less technique using UV sensitive chemistry and UV rays from the sun.
