CompetitionsOpen Art Competition 9th – 17th June 2012
The 2012 Broadway Arts Festival is celebrating the work of John Singer Sargent RA and The Broadway Colony, and featuring artist and garden designer Alfred Parsons RA. Reflecting this, the theme for this year's nationwide competition is 'In the garden'.
- £1,000 first prize sponsored by John Noott Galleries
- £500 local artist's prize, including those artists living or working within a 20 mile radius of Broadway
- additional visitors' choice prize
The judging panel will be chaired by the renowned artist John Hammond SWAc.
The competition is open to all British artists. Up to two entries are allowed per person, with a fee of £10 per entry.
The closing date for entry is 27th April 2012. Entries made after this date will be accepted until the 11th May with a late surcharge of £5 per entry. Please email ajkiszely@aol.com if you intend to submit after 27th April.
